I’m writing to you on the day between hot cross buns and chocolate eggs, a day when everyone around here (on my road anyway) is in their gardens, tidying up and making the most of the warm sunshine after a weird-weather week of rain on rain, strong winds, and even a burst of hail.
I wanted this week’s post to be a simple Easter card, so I’ve chosen a cheery tulip photograph that I took two years ago in my garden just after nine on 27 March – the morning the clocks had sprung forward into summer time.
Sending you all the glowing oranges and pinks of its petals and the fresh green ‘hiya!’ of its leaf.
Happy Easter from me
